DBC's mission

Develop great people, teammates, and players - in that order.
Produce competitive district all-star teams that lead to more skilled middle/high school teams.
- Offer an affordable alternative to travel baseball
- Avoid the shuffle of a different travel team EVERY year
- Develop a sense of pride of becoming part of a more competitive Delta baseball team

Participation in Delta Baseball Club is by tryout. Tryout dates and times are determined and communicated by the coach of that team - typically in early/mid July. Practices begin shortly thereafter.
- While our teams are PREFERENTIALLY filled with Delta baseball players, the team will be filled to create a complete roster and remain competitive
USSSA rules will be observed in most of the tournaments attended by these teams. This means we may be using USSSA bats, using lead-offs and pick-offs, and anticipating more competitive play
- 8u tournaments are most often coaches' pitch
- Player pitch usually begins at age 9 (often without lead-offs)
- Lead-offs typically begin at age 10

USSSA bats are still not allowed during the regular Delta Little League season play. If you have a USSSA bat and are playing a Delta Little League game, don't bring your USSSA bat out of the car! Players using a USSSA bat during a Little League game will incur an automatic out
